My daughter is LOVING these themed name-building practice printables! Our newest addition is this St. Patrick’s Day Names – Name Building Practice Printable. It is perfect for the month of March. My daughter had an absolute blast building her name with this fun, ready-to-go activity.

We love finding new ways for our kids to enjoy St. Patrick’s day while sneaking in some learning activities at the same time.

We work on our number sense with this St. Patrick’s Day First to 20 Game and this St. Patrick’s Day Numbers Match-Up. And our class wouldn’t look very festive if we didn’t decorate it. So we get creative with this Shamrock Thumbprint Craft and our St. Patrick’s Day Handprint Rainbow.

Want even more ways to have fun with all the holidays? Take a look at this Bingo Holiday Bundle and this year-long craft and writing prompts endless bundle.

In the St. Patrick’s Day Name Building Activity, You’ll Find:

St. Patrick’s Day Names – Name Building Practice Printable comes with two editable pages, containing a pot of gold and then up to 11 coins for students to practice spelling their names.

St. Patrick's Day Names – Name Building Practice Printable is a fun, hands-on activity that will have your students building their name in no time. This free, editable printable is perfect for toddlers, preschool, and kindergarten students.

Getting St. Patrick’s Names – Name Building Practice Printable Ready

To edit this resource, you will need to download the KG font used (KG Red Hands). Next, you will open the document with Adobe Acrobat. You will first type out the name of your student (or child) in the highlighted space on the pot of gold. Then you will spell out that name on the gold coins, with one letter per coin.

Using St. Patrick’s Day Names – Name Building Practice Printable

Each student will have their own set of St. Patrick’s Day Names. You can easily store these in a Ziploc baggie so that students can better keep track of all the pieces.

Students will first look at their name on the pot of gold. This will be the perfect guide for helping little learners practice building their name.

This student’s name is “Molly”. She took her pot of gold and then began to build her name by picking the coins with each letter until her name was built right above this cute pot of gold.
