I love snowmen. They are so cute and friendly and students are instantly engaged in whatever you are learning about if it involves one. This Snowman Number Match Printable will be the perfect addition to your math centers this winter season.

A child adding a snow ball with the number 2 showing on fingers to a snowman puzzle that has the number two on the top hat of the snowman.

Buy our Snowman Match-Up Bundle and SAVE BIG!

Snowman Number Match Printable contains 20 pages of activities, covering numbers one through twenty. Each page contains a snowman head with a number on it and then five snowballs, each with different representations of that number.

Snowman Number Match Printable is a great addition to your math centers this winter season. This free printable is perfect for preschool, kindergarten, and first grade students.

I find it best if you print this center on cardstock and laminate so that way you can use the center for years to come.

Using Snowman Number Match Printable

Students will first pick a snowman head and identify the given number.

Snowman Number Match Printable is a great addition to your math centers this winter season. This free printable is perfect for preschool, kindergarten, and first grade students.

Students will then sort through all of the pieces, looking for different ways that number could be made.

Another way this could be completed, is to have all of the snowman heads laid out on a table or even the floor. Students will then sort the remaining puzzles pieces according to their number.

If you have younger (or struggling) students that would be overwhelmed by the number of puzzle pieces in this activity, scale it back. Provide them with only a handful of numbers. Once they master those, you can slowly add in more.

I love these snowmen! I printed them and them laminated them on magnetic paper. We’ve pulled out our magnetic “games” for quiet time at out house for my three year old this summer. He is able to match them up on a cookie sheet. Only thing I wish it had was the number zero, but I don’t even know how it could be done. Still love it either way!

      Hi Tonya!

I’m sorry there is an issue with the download.

I tried looking for your order on my store, but I don’t see your email address there. Do you mind emailing me at hello(at)adabofgluewilldo.com and I’ll be glad to send over a file that will hopefully work for you!
