Getting Ice Cream Match-Ups Bundle Ready

The Ice Cream Match Up bundle comes in color or black & white options to save you ink!

Print the match-ups (Color or Black & White), laminate and cut.  Gather all of the pieces and place in a plastic container. I love using plastic shoe boxes to store centers like these. It keeps everything in one place and does not take up a ton of space.

This obviously doesn’t take a ton of time to put together and makes a wonderful activity to help your kids have fun and learn at the same time.

Doing Ice Cream Match-Ups Bundle

Students will start the activity by choosing a ice cream cone. These students were working on the blends match-up and choose the ice cream cone with the “dr” blend.

Your students will have so much fun with this Ice Cream Match Ups bundle!

They will then sort through all of the ice cream pieces, with pictures, looking for the ones that start with the “dr” blend.

Hands-on early literacy and math fun is only a mouse click away with this Ice Cream Match-Ups Bundle!

Each ice cream cone has six ice cream scoops. Once the ice cream cone has three pieces representing the corresponding blend, they can move on to a new blend and start again.

Your students will absolutely LOVE this Ice Cream Match-Ups Bundle!

Another way this could be completed, is to have all of the ice cream cones laid out on a table or even the floor. Students will then sort through all of the ice cream scoop pieces and place each one with the corresponding blend.

If you have younger (or struggling) students that would be overwhelmed by the number of pieces in this activity, scale it back. Provide them with only a few of the ice cream scoop pieces. Once they master those, you can slowly add in more.
