Fall is one of my favorite times of the year. Cooler weather, leaves changing color, pumpkins, outdoor activities - I love it all. When teaching this season to my students, I love using books to help my students "experience" the fall weather. Here are my favorite 12 fall books.

Engage your class in an exciting hands-on experience learning more about the apple! Teachers will receive the complete unit for Autumn apple science, math, and literacy activities to help teach about apples to your lower elementary students!

One of my favorite activities to do with my class is growing an apple tree in the classroom. Before I lose you...no, it is not a real tree. It is simply one made of butcher paper, but the the kids work hard to grow it from planting the seed to picking the apples. It is the perfect interactive visual that will be help students see exactly how a tree is formed.

Apple Writing Center has everything that you need to include into your literacy rotations when learning about apples.

There is something magically when students find learning FUN! I think that is the ultimate goal for all teachers and parents. One of my favorite ways to do this is by incorporating themed centers into the classroom, like this Apple Number Match math center. My students are always so excited for their centers that sometimes I wonder if they even know that they are doing work and learning.

Every single year I always do a week filled with hands-on apple activities. During this time I am always incorporating apple books into math, science, social studies, and carpet time. Here are my favorite apple books.
