Getting Apple Ending Sound Match-Up Ready:

Your students are going to LOVE using this apple ending sound match up in your early literacy center! Perfect for engaging your PreK, Kindergarten, or First Grade students.

Print the match-ups (Color or Black & White), laminate and cut using a paper trimmer.  Gather all of the pieces and place in a plastic container. I love using plastic pencil cases to store centers like these. It keeps everything in one place and does not take up a ton of space.

This obviously doesn’t take a ton of time to put together and makes a wonderful activity to help your kids have fun and learn at the same time.

Another way this could be completed, is to have all of the apple barrels laid out on a table or even the floor. Students will then sort through all of the whole apples and place each one at the correct apple barrel.

If you have younger (or struggling) students that would be overwhelmed by the amount of puzzle pieces in this activity, scale it back. Provide them with only a few of the letters. Once they master those, you can slowly add in more.
