Alphabet Tracing Worksheets you can print.

These printable Alphabet Tracing Worksheets are the perfect way to introduce students to writing letters! We love letters and find it so exciting as our students begin learning the alphabet and these worksheets are the perfect way to start!

A worksheet for a student to practice tracing upper and lowercase letter P.

The building block of literacy for our little learners is the alphabet. How our students start to relate letters in print to will carry with them for a lifetime.

So when young readers learn to recognize letters, it helps them to begin to recognize letter sounds.

To further their learning of the alphabet, students can create Alphabet Posters and will feel accomplished when they see them hanging around our classroom and at home.

As they master their recognition of letters, we then expand with Play Dough Alphabet Match-Ups.

We explore the alphabet in a hands-on way with our DIY Tactile Alphabet Cards. This is a favorite activity, incorporating learning and doing while having fun.

When we’re able to integrate learning the alphabet with crafts, our students love learning and find the ABCs exciting!

I love having weekly themes, especially when we can build on it while learning the alphabet throughout the year. So I’ve created these Alphabet Tracing Worksheets.

Getting the Alphabet Tracing Worksheets Ready

I enjoy using this Alphabet Tracing Worksheet in my letter of the week units. It’s ideal for Preschool, Pre-K, and Kindergarten literacy centers. You can purchase and download it below.

Each week, students get excited about the new letter they are working on. Students can trace the letters with a pencil or can “rainbow write” them and use multiple colors on each letter. It’s just the fine motor practice many of our students need.

This Alphabet Tracing Worksheet bundle is very easy to prep.

Once you purchase the alphabet tracing worksheets and download it, you will print out the letters you’re ready to work on.

Using the Alphabet Tracing Worksheets

For each letter of the alphabet, students will be able to trace it, find it, rainbow write it, trace words that begin with it and trace an alliteration sentence showcasing that letter.

I love having weekly themes especially when we can build on it with the alphabet throughout the year. So I've created this Alphabet Crafts Uppercase and Worksheet Bundle.Â

Students will be using the worksheets to identify the uppercase letter, practice tracing the letter, and then writing the letter on their own. Then they are ready for tracing words and sentences that go with each particular letter they are working on.

Purchase and Download these Alphabet Tracing Worksheets now!
