I always love having fun, hands-on activities for my students to do the first few weeks of school. This Alphabet Clip Card Printable was a great way for students to get back into the school routine, while reviewing letters and fine motor skills.

Getting this free printable ready is easy. All you need to do is print on cardstock and laminate. This allows the center to be used year after year.

I love storing my clip cards in a plastic pencil case. This keeps all of the pieces together and students can easily grab the center and take it back to their desk to complete it.

Doing Alphabet Clip Cards Printable

Students will start the activity by choosing a clip card from the pile.

Next, they will look for the corresponding letter on the card.

Once they have the correct letter, they will place a clothespin on that letter

This student identified a cat so they placed their clip card on the letter c.

Your students will LOVE these alphabet clip cards! A fun and hands-on way to reinforce letters.

Once they are done, they will set the card to the side and then choose a new card. They will continue this until all of the clip cards have been completed.

If you do not want your students to use clip cards, no worries! You can use mini erasers or any other manipulative. Students will look for the correct letter on the card and then they will place their manipulative on the letter.

Amazing! This blog looks just like my old one! It’s on a entirely different topic but it has pretty much the same layout and design. Superb choice of colors!
