  • laminator

Getting Lowercase Alphabet Posters Ready

First decide if you want to have color or black and white lowercase alphabet posters. If you choose color, it is strongly recommended that you laminate so that they will last longer. If you use the black and white posters, you can have students color their own pictures.

Using Lowercase Alphabet Posters at Home or in the Classroom

These lowercase alphabet posters are PERFECT for helping early learners distinguish between uppercase and lowercase letters. They can also be used for reviewing letter sounds.

There are so many different ways that you can use these at home or in the classroom. You can use them as anchor charts when learning about the individual letters. Once introduced, they can be placed on the wall for students to refer to throughout the school year. You can also have them at a literacy center. Students can use pointers or fly swatters to identify the different pictures, working on increasing their vocabulary while learning about letters. You can also use them in writing centers to help provide students with ideas on what to do write about.
