Matching Numbers with Ice Cream includes nine pages of ice cream scoops, numbers four through 20. Each ice cream cone has a number written on it and each ice cream scoop has two to four dice. Students will count the number of dots on each dice and then match it to the correctly numbered cone.

Math can be very difficult and frustrating for some children. Because of this, it is important to have FUN, hands-on activities for students. These activities can be used to help introduce, teach, and/or review important concepts that are being taught. These Matching Numbers with Ice Cream are perfect to use in your classroom to help students continue to practice numbers and counting. Are you looking for more summer ideas, activities, and printables to do at home or in the classroom? This free resource is a PERFECT activity to easily go into a math center or rotation. To prepare, you will simply need to print (I prefer cardstock) and laminate for that added durability so that you can reuse it year after year. When students are just starting out, you can give them just one scoop per cone until they have that mastered. This will make it a little less overwhelming at first. You want your students to be successful, so we do not want to set them up for failure and frustration.

As the get the hang of it, you can add another scoop and then the third and final scoop.

I entered my name and email and clicked “Get Printable” but it doesn’t work. A message flashes on the screen too quickly for me to read, so I don’t know if it’s an actual error or not. But it doesn’t work. Keep us posted if you get it figured out!

Hello! I’m so sorry you haven’t received your downloads. Will you please check your spam, junk or promotions folders to see if they’re hiding in there?

If you still can’t find them, please feel free to email me at freebies @ adabofgluewilldo (dot) com, please let me know exactly what freebie you were hoping for so I can send it to you. Also, if you are using a work email sometimes they block our emails with the downloads so you may want to use a personal email.

Thank you for your patience, Jennifer
