Using Number Puzzles

Students will first pick a number to work on and then find the corresponding puzzle pieces.

To get this freebie, use the ‘click here to download’ button at the bottom of this page

Students will then sort through all of the pieces, looking for different ways that number could be made.

Another way this could be completed is to have all of the written numbers laid out on a table or even the floor. Students will then sort the remaining puzzles pieces according to their number.

If you have younger (or struggling) students that would be overwhelmed by the number of puzzle pieces in this activity, scale it back. Provide them with only a handful of numbers. Once they master those, you can slowly add in more.

Are your students just learning about numbers? Then you are going to LOVE using these number puzzles!

You have some great resources, but your website is so congested with ads its very annoying, but it would be worth it maybe if the downloads work, but i went through the steps and still can’t download or haven’t seen anything in my email. I would never buy anything knowing this is how things operate.
