Earth Day Editable Puzzles contains a single page with three editable puzzles.

Getting Earth Day Editable Puzzles Ready

Prior to printing, you will open the resource in an up-to-date Adobe Acrobat. You will then fill in the information into the editable fields. Once all six fields are complete you will print. You will complete these steps until you have all the puzzles you need completed.

It is recommended that you print this resource on cardstock and laminate so that it can be used for years to come. When cutting out the cards, I recommend using my paper cutter. This makes the job quick and easy!

Doing Earth Day Editable Puzzles

Students will first layout all of the pieces on a desk or floor. They will then choose an earth card first. This student chose the word “see”.

Students will then sort through all of the puzzle pieces until they have found the corresponding heart puzzle piece. Since the puzzle pieces were requiring students to match sight words for this activity, this student found another “see” piece.
