Candy Corn Initial Sound Puzzles is the perfect addition to your literacy centers this fall. This free printable is perfect for preschool, kindergarten, and first grade students.

Implementing Candy Corn Initial Sound Puzzles
Candy Corn Initial Sound Puzzles contains 26 different puzzles, one for each letter of the alphabet.
Getting Candy Corn Initial Sound Puzzles Ready
Getting this free printable ready is easy. Print on cardstock and laminate. This allows the center to be used year after year.
Then you can cut the puzzles accordingly and store inside a pencil box. This allows students to quickly grab the center whenever they want.
Doing Candy Corn Initial Sound Puzzles
Students will start by placing all of the pieces on a desk or the floor.
Next, students will choose a pice of the candy corn that has a letter on it.
They will then search through the pieces looking for an orange puzzle piece that has the corresponding picture on it.
Lastly, students will search for the yellow piece that has the name of the picture written out.
Once completed, students can place to the side and start the steps over until all candy corns are completed or time is up.
If you have younger students that would struggle with matching the word, picture, and letter, you can easily differentiate this activity. Instead of cutting each candy corn into three pieces, simply cut into two pieces. One that has the letter and then other piece will have the picture and name together.
