Boost summer learning with our enriching June Pre-K Math and Literacy Centers. Enhance your student's skills with our engaging activities.

June is a beautiful time of year! The sun is shining and the days are long and warm. The kids are excited to get outside and play. The school year is over for some and getting close to the end for others. Some may even be teaching summer school during June. To make learning engaging with a seasonal theme we’ve created these June Pre-K Math and Literacy Centers.

Whether you’re still in the classroom or keeping your own kids busy at home in June, it’s always great to engage our kids in learning while they play all summer long.

We can celebrate the start of summer with these wonderful summer read-alouds and play our favorite summer bingo game. We can add in some science with these experiments with a June theme and this summer STEM. We can help our youngest learners practice their numbers with this summer first to 20 game and these insect counting mats.

These seasonal activities go perfectly with our Summer Season Science Unit. And of course for rainy days and quiet moments, I love to use these June and Summer Pre-k Google Slides. This pre-k summer review is great for hands-on learning over summer break.

But do you want to know my secret for keeping everyone engaged in their learning, all while having fun, all June long? Our June Pre-K Math and Literacy Centers come with everything you need to make practicing skills exciting and intriguing!

Using the Pre-K June Centers with Your Students

Wondering where to start with your pre-k centers for June? Luckily, we’ve done this a time or two before, so we have lots of great tips for you!

Once you purchase and download your centers, take inventory of everything that you now own. Take a look at the different categories of centers and the types of centers that come in each category. Make a list of, or send to the printer right away, the centers that you definitely want to use soon. Once you print, organize your centers in piles of what needs to be copied, laminated, cut, etc. Try to prep this in May so that come June you’re ready to go. The good news is, so many of these centers can be printed on cardstock and/or laminated to be used for years to come. Your future self will love you when June comes around again next year!
