I come from a family of educators, and after a short career in sports, I quickly realized teaching was my passion. I completed an alternative certification program and have taught both 6th and 8th reading, U.S. history, and most recently, physical education. My absolute favorite part of being a teacher is creating those meaningful relationships with students and watching them grow, not only in my classroom, but beyond. I love receiving visits from former students! I’m also a mother to three kids and enjoy reading, running, and watching sports.
