Autumn is in full swing and we just can’t get enough of it! Warm cozy sweaters, scarves, and boots are worn daily while we sip our Pumpkin Spice Latte and eat our apple crisp with abandon. This season is always magical, spooky, cozy, and comforting. There is just something about fall that I will always love.

Fall is also my favorite season to bring into the classroom. Is your school near a wooded area? Take your students on a nature scavenger hunt and bring those signs of fall back to the classroom with you!

Exploring seasonal fruits and veggies? With pumpkins, apples, corn, and squash all in season, autumn is the perfect time of year to learn about life cycles, taste, texture, smell and so much more related to harvesting and farming.
